Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are research studies performed in people that are aimed at evaluating a medical, surgical, or behavioral intervention. They are the primary way that researchers find out if a new treatment is safe and effective in people.

Why We Participate In Clinical Trials

For patients with lung disease, being a part of a clinical trial offers hope for improved health. If you have a respiratory condition like asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer or other condition, you may want to consider being a participant.

By participating you can help us make diseases of the lung a thing of the past. Our doctors take part in clinical trials. They then present their findings in conferences and publications.

Clinical Trials and Informed Consent

All clinical trials require informed consent; the process of making sure you know what may happend during the clinical trial. Our staff will go over what to expect when participating.

Current Clinical Trials

AIRFLOW 3 Clinical Trial

This study focuses on patients with COPD. COPD is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. The purpose of this study is to confirm the safety and efficacy of the Nuvaira Lung Denervation System (Nuvaira System) in the treatment of COPD.

RejuvenAir Clinical Trial

The RejuvenAir System offers a unique solution that is aimed at treating the underlying cause of COPD with Chronic Bronchitis. This trial is currently recruiting patients in the United States to continue to explore the safety and effectiveness of metered cryospray treatments in patients suffering from Chronic Bronchitis.
