Diagnostic Pulmonary Medicine
Pulmonology refers to diseases of the respiratory tract. As pulmonologists, we diagnose and treat various respiratory ailments including shortness of breath, chronic cough, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis and pulmonary fibrosis. Additionally, we care for patients with pulmonary nodules or masses, lung cancer, chronic lung infections, pleural diseases and pulmonary hypertension.
At Georgetown Pulmonary Associates, we have a full service pulmonary function laboratory that helps us determine the cause of various breathing problems and also follows the patient’s response to treatment. The lab is patient-friendly and is directed by Kim Nors, RRT.
